UL200

The UL200 is one of our newest models.  Weighing only 10.5 lbs., it is very portable yet offers a great sound.  The UL200 features 12 treble and 11 bass courses with 2 strings per course giving a 2.5 octave range and an 11 note chromatic run.  The UL200 has a laminated birch back with a hand hole for easy carrying out of the case, solid maple rails, pin-blocks, and internal bracing.  The top is solid Honduras mahogany for a fuller sound than can be achieved with a laminated top.  The maple bridges are inlayed with solid walnut for position markers.   The entire instrument is given 5 coats of hand rubbed lacquer finish.  The instrument comes with a ¼” laminated soft case, tuning chart, tuning wrench and a set of hammers.

HD200

This great sounding instrument, designed in 1987, has 12 treble and 11 bass courses of 2 strings per course giving a 2.5 octave range and an 11 note chromatic run.  The HD200, which weighs 12.75 lbs., has a solid maple back with a hand hole for easy carrying, solid maple rails, pin-blocks, and internal bracing.  The top is solid Honduras mahogany for a fuller sound than can be achieved with a laminated top.  The maple pin-block is trimmed with solid walnut where the pin-block meets the back.  The maple bridges are inlayed with solid walnut for position markers.  The top is given a brown mahogany stain filler, then the entire instrument is given 5 coats of hand rubbed lacquer finish.  The instrument comes with a ¼” laminated soft case, tuning wrench, tuning chart, and a set of hammers.
